Dispatches from the FieldAs a researcher, policy advocate, instructional designer, professor, nonprofit leader, and education consultant. I've sat in classrooms, boardrooms, conference rooms, community circles, state policy meetings and more. I've witnessed extraordinary acts of creativity and transformation in schools—and I've seen the policies, practices, and assumptions that get in the way (onsite and off).
These field notes are my attempt to make sense of it all and share what I'm noticing, learning, questioning, and experimenting with along the way.
The Revolution will be Pedagogical
The revolution will be pedagogical because pedagogy is where our humanity lives, where we commit to creating the conditions where people can show up whole in the full potential and dignity of their humanity.
